The role:

We are looking for a licensed Telemedicine Neurologist to support our mission to radically improve access to high-quality brain health and dementia care! Our neurologists partner with multidisciplinary therapists, Neurology Nurse Practitioners, and other clinicians to support patients and their families during their brain health journey. 

This position is a full-time W2 or 1099 independent contract role.

Who you are:

• You hold an active MD/DO license in good standing in at least Oregon ; multiple state and/or IMLC preferred
• National ABPN Board Certification in Neurology
• Fellowship training and/or strong clinical background in evaluating and managing patients with Alzheimer's disease and related disorders or other cognitive-behavioral disorders preferred
• Minimum of 2+ years' clinical experience
• Maintain a strong evidence-based clinical skill set while practicing and implementing outcome-focused care
• Empathetic, active, and intuitive listening
• Strong verbal and written communication
• Knowledgeable in crisis response
• Comfortable working autonomously in a telemedicine environment
• Tech-savvy with the ability to navigate various systems and tools with ease (this includes, but is not limited to Google Workspace, Slack, Zoom, proprietary EMR, etc.); able to provide own personal computer/laptop that meets security and telehealth standards
• Passionate about our mission of improving access to high-quality brain health and dementia care
• An entrepreneurial spirit or previous experience within a startup or fast-paced environment is preferred 

How your skills and passion will come to life at Isaac Health:

• Hold thoughtful and engaged sessions with patients; 60-minute initial sessions and 30-minute follow-up sessions
• Provide 10-40 hours of weekly availability
• Ensure the most beneficial level of treatment is implemented for our patients
• Evaluate and assess that proper documentation and appropriate interventions are being implemented
• Fulfill any state-specific requirement as a collaborator (attendance in meetings, etc.) 
• Must be clinically strong, function autonomously and competently, and utilize critical thinking skills to provide appropriate triage care
• Each nurse practitioner or other clinician that you supervise will do roughly an hour of work per individual per month (must abide by state rules and regulations)
• Create your own flexible schedule based on your individual availability! The scheduled time must fall within the hours of 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM US Eastern Time.
• Work alongside other like-minded clinicians that have a common goal to positively impact the lives of others, and create an environment that leads to favorable outcomes for patients
