What You'll Bring to the Role-
Education & Credentials:

• Current license from the State of California Speech-Language Pathology Board
• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an ASHA-accredited program
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC)

Professional Experience:

• Minimum one (1) year of experience as an SLP working with individuals with developmental disabilities
• Minimum one (1) year of pediatric experience (birth to 5 years of age)
• Demonstrated ability to provide constructive feedback, mentor colleagues, and support professional growth

General Requirements:

• Must be 18 years of age or older at the time of hire
• Criminal record clearance from DOJ required
• Valid California Driver's License, safe driving record, and at least 2 years of driving experience
• Current and adequate auto insurance
• CPR/FA certification (training provided if not already certified)
• Strong accountability and follow-through in documentation, compliance, and training requirements
• Adaptability in responding to changing policies, staffing needs, and family crises

Language & Technical Skills:

• Proficiency in reading, writing, speaking, and understanding English
• Skilled in Microsoft Word and Outlook
• Strong active listening skills to understand family and staff concerns
• Ability to deliver feedback in a constructive and supportive manner
