The Social Media Manager is responsible for leading the WesternU College of Pharmacy’s ( COP ) social media presence and operations across all social media platforms. This role is responsible for developing and executing a digital content strategy, ensure consistent coverage of COP events, including but not limited to, at-site or off-site recruitment, commencement, and other major events, and create compelling content that showcases our program to prospective students, current students, alumni, domestic and international pipeline pathways, pharmacy partners, and the community. The ideal candidate will work to ensure that the COP website remains current by updating content as needed in conjunction with the dean’s office. The ideal candidate is a digital-savvy marketer who thrives in a collaborative and friendly environment and can balance independent creativity with performance-driven thinking.
The Social Media Manager position will report to the COP Assistant Dean for External Relations in close collaboration with the COP Assistant Dean for Community Engagement and will be an integral part of the COP development group in the Dean’s Office. The ideal candidate will be expected to interact with the Marketing Department of the university under COP supervision.
