Job Summary:

The Press Helper is a very critically important job working closely with the Press operator to keep the machine running and ensure that all tasks performed in a safe and timely manner.

Essential Functions:

• Responsible for gathering the material (film, cylinders, and inks) necessary to run the press
• Must be able to read ruler, tape measure, as this is critical for machine set ups
• Return cylinders and the balance of film and ink to the correct location after a job is finished
• Clean printing plates throughout the shift
• Assist operator with set up, operation, and repairs as needed
• Maintain a clean work area
• Schedule: Must be able to work 12 hour rotating shift (two days on, two days off with lots of opportunities for additional overtime)
• Your work will be overseen by the Operator & department manager for support

Work Schedule:

• Night Shift 6:00pm – 6:00am on a rotating schedule
• Day Shift 6:00am – 6:00pm on a rotating schedule

Job Type:

*Please note, this is a TEMP to HIRE position 

Pay: $20.14 per hour with an increase every six months

Pay Range: $20.14 - 24.01
