Job Description

We are seeking a qualified candidate with 1-2 years of commercial grooming experience. In return we offer a supportive and friendly environment. You will receive 50% commission on gross revenue. We provide the following

  • 50% commission (on gross revenue)

  • Assistance with tool maintenance including sharpening
  • A supportive environment including the ability to assist with difficult animals and clients
The job requirements are as follows:
  • 1-2 years of commercial grooming experience
  • Have knowledge and experience in grooming all common breeds of dogs
  • Have an understanding of dog behavior and must be able to handle dogs of all sizes and ages
  • Have expertise with all grooming tools, and should possess own clipper and scissors
  • Have strong customer service skills and the ability to work with all clients
  • Be able to solve problems and resolve issues with customers
  • The ability to work with other animals (rabbits, guinea pigs cats) is a plus but not required
  • Must be punctual and reliable
The responsibilities of the Pet Groomer are as follows
  • Provide grooming services, including the following for all breeds and sizes of dogs:
  • Haircuts
  • Baths
  • Brush and Comb
  • Flea Treatment
  • Furminator
  • Nail Clipping and Grinding
  • Advise clients of grooming needs and recommend services and products that would benefit the pet
  • Work with clients to resolve any issues or concerns
  • Provide price quotes to clients in accordance with store pricing policies
  • Maintain the cleanliness of the grooming facility
  • Maintain all grooming tools in good working order
  • Make recommendations to customers who wish to purchase grooming supplies
