Job Title: Network Engineer

Note : Shift: 1st shift/40 hour work week. Will be on call from Monday-Monday every eight weeks. Not remote or hybrid. Will work at site. Travel: Will be traveling to campuses in PA when needed. Most campuses are 45 minutes away from each other. Interview: HM will phone interview via Teams. Must be USC. No relocating candidates at this time. HM Notes: Looking to bring someone that has 3-5 yrs experience, train and promote within. Candidate must be willing to be hands on when needed. Top Required Skills:

• Hands-on experience with Cisco and Palo Alto network technologies
• Strong troubleshooting and RTB support capabilities for medium high complexity environments
• Ability to document, communicate, and collaborate effectively with cross-functional IT teams

Must-Have Skills:

• 3+ years of experience in IT or a related field
• Experience supporting DNS, DHCP, Cisco networking (switching, routing, wireless)
• Familiarity with Cisco ISE or DNA Center
• Ability to support Palo Alto technologies (Firewall, Panorama, GlobalProtect VPN, URL Filtering, IoT Security, PRISMA)
• Strong organizational, time-management, and multitasking skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, changing environment
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities
• Ability to travel up to ~15%
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and web-based applications

Nice-to-Have Skills:

• Cisco, Palo Alto, or cloud certifications (CCNA, CCNP, CCIE, etc.)
• ITIL Foundation or Network+ certification
• IT experience in a manufacturing environment
• Experience managing enterprise-level networks
• Experience creating network diagrams in Microsoft Visio

Key Responsibilities:

• Support Palo Alto technologies including Firewalls, Panorama, GlobalProtect VPN, URL Filtering, IoT Security, PRISMA, and related platforms
• Support Cisco technologies including switching, routing (SD-WAN), Cisco ISE/TACACS, DNA Center, Wireless, ACI, and related systems
• Provide medium high complexity RTB (Run-the-Business) support, maintenance, and incident/service request resolution
• Deliver network solutions for both operational needs and project work
• Participate as a project resource, supporting requirements gathering, solution recommendations, and implementation
• Share knowledge as a subject-matter expert through documentation, mentoring, and collaboration with IT teams

Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years of IT experience with hands-on network support
• Strong understanding of Cisco and Palo Alto network environments
• Ability to work independently, manage priorities, and handle time-sensitive tasks
• Effective written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to travel approximately 15%
