Seeking a Manufacturing Engineer in the Dubuque Area!!
Job Description
The primary focus of this role is to provide day-to-day line support and troubleshooting. The successful candidate will partner with operations, quality, maintenance, and supply chain functions to drive improvements in safety, quality, delivery, and cost.
Responsibilities
+ Collaborate closely with production teams to perform problem solving and root cause analysis.
+ Lead continuous improvement projects utilizing lean manufacturing principles.
+ Drive cost reductions and yield improvements.
+ Utilize project management tools to enhance productivity.
+ Improve equipment capability and reliability.
+ Identify opportunities for error proofing and implement effective solutions.
Essential Skills
+ Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
+ Experience in problem solving and root cause analysis.
+ Proficiency in lean manufacturing and quality engineering.
+ Experience with project management.
+ 5-10 years of industry experience preferred.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Previous experience in an operations or maintenance role.
+ Lean manufacturing green or black belt certification.
Work Environment
This is a dynamic engineering environment where you will spend the majority of your day on the floor doing maintenance and troubleshooting when supporting production. For project support, expect to spend 50-60% of your day on the floor. The team is experienced and offers opportunities to collaborate with experts in a collaborative environment that values hands-on problem solving and continuous improvement.

This is a Contract position based out of Dubuque, IA.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $36.00 - $58.00/hr.
