Maintenance Technician | Mattawan, MI

Salary Range: $51,000 - $83,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Perform routine preventive and corrective maintenance on manufacturing equipment and machinery.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic system malfunctions.
• Execute repairs and replacements of faulty components to minimize production downtime.
• Install, calibrate, and test new equipment and machinery according to specifications.
• Maintain accurate records of all maintenance activities, repairs, and parts inventory.
• Adhere strictly to all safety regulations, lockout/tagout procedures, and company policies.
• Collaborate with production and engineering teams to identify and implement equipment improvements.

Recommended Qualifications

• Proficiency in troubleshooting and repairing industrial electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
• Experience with Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) for diagnostics and minor programming adjustments.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, schematics, and ladder logic.
• Strong understanding and adherence to industrial safety protocols, including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO).
• Minimum of 2-3 years of industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.

Bonus Qualifications

• Proficiency with PLC (Programmable Logic Controller) troubleshooting and basic programming.
• Experience with welding and fabrication (e.g., MIG, TIG, stick).
• Familiarity with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).
• HVAC and/or refrigeration system maintenance experience.
