As a Locum NP or PA, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team in a staffing and recruiting capacity. Your contributions will be essential in ensuring that our healthcare partners receive the support they need to deliver exceptional care.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough patient assessments and evaluations
• Develop and implement critical care treatment plans
• Collaborate with physicians and healthcare teams to provide comprehensive care
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary
• Perform necessary medical procedures and interventions
• Document all patient interactions and maintain accurate medical records
• Provide education and support to patients and their families
• Stay current with advancements in critical care practices and guidelines

Requirements

• Associate degree in Nursing or Physician Assistant studies
• Current NP or PA licensure in the state of Tennessee
• Previous experience in a critical care setting is preferred
• Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively in a high-pressure environment
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications
• Commitment to providing compassionate patient care

Schedule: 12-hour shifts

Setting: ICU

Daily Census: 12 patients

Required Procedures: Intubations, central line placements, arterial line placements

Support Staff: MD on call, APPs

Board certification required

Paid travel & expenses
