Position: Warehouse Helper Department: Warehouse and Inventory Reports To: Warehouse manager Location: Bavdhan, Pune Employment Type: Full-Time Job Purpose To assist in day-to-day warehouse operations including loading, unloading, cleaning, packaging, and supporting repair & maintenance activities, ensuring smooth and efficient workflow. Key Responsibilities Assist in loading and unloading of furniture, household items, and other materials safely. Clean furniture and household items before packaging and storage. Support packaging operations by providing necessary assistance in wrapping, labeling, and staging items. Help carpenters and technicians in repair and maintenance activities as required. Move and organize inventory in warehouse racks and staging areas. Ensure warehouse cleanliness and maintain safe working conditions. Assist in stock picking and preparation for dispatch. Report damages or discrepancies to supervisors immediately. Follow all warehouse safety protocols and procedures. Work as a team to ensure timely execution of warehouse operations. Key Skills & Competencies Basic knowledge of warehouse operations and material handling. Ability to safely lift, carry, and move heavy items. Teamwork and willingness to assist in multiple tasks. Attention to detail in cleaning and handling items. Basic understanding of packaging and repair processes. Time management and ability to work under supervision. Qualifications & Experience Minimum 8th grade education (preferred). 0–2 years of experience in warehouse or helper roles. Physically fit to handle furniture and large household items. Basic knowledge of handling tools and warehouse safety. Performance Metrics (KPIs) Loading/Unloading Efficiency: ≥ 95% accuracy and timeliness. Damage-Free Handling: 100% safe handling of all items. Warehouse Cleanliness: Maintain assigned area cleanliness daily. Support in Repair Work: Timely assistance in repair & maintenance activities.
