**Overview** **Job Summary Details** : Hiring Now a Department General Helper, in the Hampton VA area. Full Time position, 6am to 2pm Monday-Friday. Hourly pay rate $15.97 paid Weekly. Responsible for moving parts using electrical pallet jack and hoist to place on hanger, cleaning leach tank, cleaning parts, picking up and distributing supplies to cutting poles, cleaning department and other duties as assigned. Electrical pallet jack and hoist experience preferred. The Technician completes assigned preventive maintenance and reactive maintenance repairs. **Pay: $15.97 per hour - $15.97 per hour​** The pay listed is the hourly range or the hourly rate for this position. For information about ABM's benefits, visit ABM Employee Benefits | Front Line Team Members ( | (Programa de Beneficios de ABM) **Basic Qualifications:** - Must be 18 years of age or older - No experience required and on the job training provided - No high school diploma, GED or college degree required **Preferred Qualifications:** - One (1) year of similar work experience **Responsibilities:** - Complete assigned preventive maintenance and reactive maintenance repairs requiring conveyor, mechanical, plumbing, electrical, instrumentation, HVAC and other equipment, systems or structures - Ensure repairs and maintenance to all equipment and facilities - Respond to spills and other emergency situations, performing janitorial and maintenance tasks as necessary - Assist in client, site or customer emergencies as needed A good job for someone just entering the workforce or returning to the workforce with limited experience and education.
